I have to admit that I have never lived without piles somewhere in my house! I try to keep them maintained, but I honestly feel more organized with them (as crazy as that might sound) because it gives another spot for something to go. But what takes the real effort though, is following through with what each pile represents….

Very few things give me more energy and excitement than re-doing a room, re-arranging the playroom, or straightening up a closet! And my very favorite space to tackle, are any that are kid related. Whether it’s a bedroom, bathroom, play-space or homework station, I love any and all “child-centered” areas.
The start of a new year, and the beginning of a new season, often make me think about organizing. Two of my favorite places to start are my children’s playroom and their closets. Once these are finished, my life seems to be in much better order, and our morning routines seem to go much smoother.
